Using the definition of Jon Kabat-Zinn, professor of medicine Emeritus, founder of mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), and creator of the Stress Reduction Clinic, and the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care and Society of the University of Massachusetts, “Mindfulness is awareness, cultivated by paying attention in a sustained and particular way: On purpose, in the present moment, and nonjudgmentally. I could say that Is one of the many forms of meditation using self-regulated attention to recognize the mental events in the present moment characterized by curiosity, openness, and acceptance. Mindfulness goes beyond meditation is a practice to cultivate many attitudes at work, with children and partners, within communities.
Study after study show that meditation and mindfulness training affect every aspect of our lives, bodies, minds and physical health as well as our emotional and spiritual well being which is taking mindfulness no only into hospitals and clinics but even into leadership and businesses.
It is not a secret that most of chronic illnesses are being linked to stress which affects our immune system, and meditation has proved through neuroimaging that because of the neuroplasticity of the brain we can rewire our brain.
It is not a quick fix, it takes time, commitment, and practice but science has proved that mindfulness meditation can be effective in helping to treat people who suffer from many challenges by combining medical and psychological treatment with mindfulness meditation and training, including: * Chronic pain * anxiety and depression * cancer and chronic disease* work, family, and emotional stress* eating disturbances* heart disease*sleeplessness.

Amazing blog! Do you have any recommendations for aspiring writers?
I’m hoping to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress
or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out
there that I’m completely confused .. Any recommendations?
Kudos!
